The piece I chose to write about for my language arts reflection is the zombie movie. It was fun to write. The zombie movie is about a boy named Dylan. He is going through a zombie apocalypse with his best friend John. When I wrote my fiction piece I used a story map about my character’s hops and desires. He hopes that the zombies go away. I added details about Dylan’s life like his best friend, John. I built a story problem and a climax with the zombies all around them. My resolution to the problem was giving my characters scooters to escape the zombies. I have improved as a writer this year. I learned how to develop an exciting story line. I learned how to write good leads that will make the reader want to read on. I learned to add conversation to my writing and using “ing” words will make our conversation better.
I can improve my writing by adding even more details and descriptions to make my stories longer and more interesting for the reader. It will help the reader picture my characters.
